Black Bean Soup

Looking for a simple and quick to make soup????  

This one was very easy and ready in about 30 minutes.
No recipe needed. 

I just sauted some onions, garlic, added a can of black beans
 and then seasoned with cumin and chili pepper. 
 Added chicken broth and simmered for 20 minutes.

 While the soup simmered I made a fresh salsa to garnish the soup.  
Hand chopped tomatoes, onions, garlic, a jalapeno pepper and cilantro 
and seasoned with salt, pepper and a squeeze of fresh lime .

Used the stick blender to puree the soup and it was ready to eat.

 
Topped with a dollop of sour cream and
Salsa.

Served with some tortilla chips on the side.

I had all the ingredients on hand.   
The only thing missing that I would have liked to have added was fresh avocado.
